music from Paul Franklin

I,m going to go out on a limb and I,m not looking to get flamed in anyway.I think it would be a good idea to show Paul and his people that a lot of us would support more cds from him if he could find the time to make them.I bought his speed lick cassette tape years ago and it really got me going.I really like listening to the phrasing in Jingle Bells. One idea I would love to see is a dvd of Paul playing live in the studio with a band with some carefully selected songs and a split screen with the band on one side and an overhead of Paul on the other.Just some ideas. If anyone has any flaming send it to my private messages,I never read them. Thanks lakeshrk

Gets more awesome every year!
Jerry, If you haven't yet, I suggest you get a copy of "The Players" DVD which has extensive footage of Paul playing live with some of the best session players and guests you'd ever want to hear. Fantastic.

Just a somewhat unrelated comment on PF. I got into the habit of going to Knoxville back when Stoney was producing his steel shows there quite a few years ago. In my opinion, as good as Paul sounds on his own CD's and as good as he sounds on the many thousands of recordings he has played on, he sounds far better when you get to hear him live!!
