Hey Papa that looks arright to me. I see BIAB. What's the recording software on the left screen?
You use 2 computers huh?
I'll show you my 'studio' when I get it set up and running.
Bent,I'm using a NVIDIA video card [as per Wiz's advice]that lets me use multple monitors.Just one PC.The other monitor has the Cakewalk Pro Audio 8 set up on it.This way I can jump back and forth between BIAB and Cakewalk with my track ball.Makes it much easier. PJ
Dick,I'm doing an album of classic pop tunes from the 30's and 40's, [Our forum friend Al Marcus inspired me to try this after hearing his artistry],and that one thats up now is one of my favorites,"Moonlight in Vermont".Those are my chords, maybe not the same as some others might use.
I play by ear so I play what I hear. PJ
Papa Joe, nice setup. I'm glad I inspired someone. Thanks. I dont inspire my wife, she does not like steel guitar.LOL. How about posting the link to your recording. I am sure we would all like to hear it....al.:)

here's my mess..I also have Cubase on the PC with a Tascam 2X analog/midi Interface. I pretty much do ALL of my work on the Yamaha AW2816 /16 track Workstation then transfer wave files to the PC . I write drum tracks on the PC and then send them to the workstation as a stereo feed. To the left of the 16 track is a Boss Micro BR, what a kool tool. I have recently taken stereo tracks from the 16 track and mastered them with the Micro BR ! You can save the master ( several options ) to wave or mp3 formats. The Micro BR uses SD memory / USB so it is real easy to move files around.Excellent way to blow $199 ! On the PC I also use CoolEdit 2000 for final cleanup, fade in /out, DB boost/cut..whatever...and of course the final SAVE...
Yes sir Mr. Jones..Now that looks like a real great "HOME" studio.Which is what I was hoping this thread would focus on.Tony's set up looks very nice too.
I see that Gene has an electric chair.Hope the drummer doesn't have control of the switch.
Let's see some more home studios. .PJ
Here is my home studio. I use a video card with two monitor outputs so I can put the mixer on one CRT and the tracks on the other. I run my steel into the board from my Profex I.

For me, although my table is a pure mess, it is about logistics. My requirement is that all of my STUFF needs to be right hand driven. I am constantly rewinding, recording, rewinding, re-recording etc. My coffee cup has to be right hand accessible too, with minimum spillage..
My table is functional around the Steel first and the gear secondary. And it's always in the re-design mode.
Gene Jones-That is a nice Well organized studio. Everything right at your fingertips. Steel is setup nice too.Did you make that great CD I have of yours with it??...al.:)

Al, thanks for the kind comments. Yes, the only two CD's I made were done in that "bedroom" studio. I had always wanted to make a CD with real musicians, in a real studio, using professional engineers, but I waited too long and time passed me by, so this was my compromise.
