Lloyd, Jay Dee, and Jimmy Day are easy to recognize, but can you guess the steeler in the middle. He's one of the most underated players around. Notice they're all playing ShoBuds.

That'd be Rick Price of San Antonio, originally from Niagra Falls.
Not only under-rated, as you say, but a heck of a nice guy.
I first met Rick in Nashville in the early '70's when I was a total tenderfoot on steel. He was working road for Stonewall Jackson at the time. I had introduced myself while he was playing an afternoon at Dee-mens Den on Nashville, and he took an 'extened' break and took me across the street, upstairs Sho~Bud and introduced me to everyone in Sho~Bud, and spent some time with me. How great that was that he'd go to that trouble for a 'steel rookie'!
By the way, Mike, I still listen and enjoy the CD you sent me a while back of your 'guitartistry' - You're playing is superb!
Lookin' forward to meeting you sometime.
