Thanks Terry Farmer ... the "Father" of my "Mothers" ...

Coming this summer ...

6,7,8 or 10 string ... Short Scale (22.5") Dustpans ...

And ...

6,7,8 or 10 string ... Long Scale (25.5") Dustpans ...

I will more than likely need a second furnace to fill these monsters ...

Two 2000+ degree F furnaces running side by side ... 2 gallons of molten aluminum ... so "Tim the Toolman" ...

The "Headless Horseman" is Terry's own design ...

The "A" (for Aiello) headstock 7,8,10 stringers ... will be cast "empty" ... no aluminum inside ... just the outer "frame" for the tuning machines.

Its gonna be a "Hot" summer in the Shenandoah Valley.

Hi, Rick.

Wow! Quiet an enterprise your "cooking up," (no pun intended). Did I see in a recent post you're contemplating also a D-8? Or am I dreaming for those fortunate "No peddlers" who are drooling for such an animal?

The "Headless Horseman" looks like a "Keyless" lap steel on the drawing board...or am I missing something?

That inventive mind or yours apparently never sleeps or slumbers.

Best wishes to your new endeavors.

That Keyless one ... thats all Terry's design and idea ...

He's got two wood ones like it right now ... almost done ...

A bit different than his first ...

He'll probably jump in with the details of that rascal ...

Anyway ... a D8

Maybe I can have two welded together ... A356 welds well ...

Details of the "Shorty" will be coming as soon as I finish the wood ones. They will be headless, but still have tuning keys. I've designed it specially for air travel. It's a blend of several ideas on the market now. I'll post pictures in 4-6 weeks. Peace,
Terry
