Ignorant Amplifier Question

I am going to but a PSG just as soon as the right one comes along. That's a direct quote from the pro steeler who is kind enough to help me get started. However, I only own a 10w practice amp w/6" speaker. I do own a couple of power amps and some TOA and JBL speakers that I use for Karaoke shows. Will I need a preamp to use the rack system? Or what. I think I am going to spend pretty much my entire wad on the PSG, so buying a new amp is out of the question for now.
