Pointer Sisters

Post by Joachim Kettner »

One of the first songs I've heard with a steel in it, was Fairy Tale by the Pointer Sisters. I have searched UTube and I found this... to bad it ends so soon because right after the piano solo is the steel solo, but I still think it's interesting, that they had a steel player.

I'm sorry, you are both right. It was Weldon Myrick.

The album is called That's A Plenty.
What amazed me is that in this fairly recent performance (from 2009) they also had a steel player.
