According to this year's schedule:

Mitsuo Fujii & Kiyoshi Kobayashi (Japan)
Al Brisco (Canada)
Marcel Parijs (Holland)

I've seen (off the top of my head) players from England, Norway, Australia etc. perform in years past.

In the past years, there have been players from England (Sarah Jory, Gerry Hogan), Norway (Egil Skjelnes, Dag Wolf), Germany (Nils Tuxen), Australia (Feral Swing Cats) and more.

Kind Regards, Walter

I believe that in the past, portions of the convention were broadcast world wide via steelradio.com. Anyone with internet access could listen in.

I think Scotty has also usually reserved the midnight set on Friday for a featured act from outside the US. In the past that has been Dag/Egil (Norway), Feral Swing Cats (Australia), and about 7 Canadian steelers at once, as I recall, and I'm sure several others I can't recall or missed.

Ah, but I remember Felicity! (Be still my heart!) Very Happy

BTW, are we going to see your smiling face in St Louis this weekend, I hope?

Cheerz,
JC

Walter Stettner mentioned a number of international players but did NOT mention that he would be playing this year, himself. Note that he is from Austria. He's just too modest!!

Kindest regards, Jim Harrison

A point of interest here!......I attended last years Convention, did not play, but got roped in to carry the South African flag during the flag parade/ceremony.....
As much as the guys share steel related info on this forum, it would appear that no-one took any pictures of this parade, or just do not want to share any photos, or video......despite several requests on the forum.
Oh well!..... Sad

Jim, I wish I were at this moment pushing back from the jetway humming "Silver Wings", but sadly I won't be there this year - I'm sure gonna miss seeing everyone but wish y'all a great weekend Very Happy

Jean Yves Lozach from France played at the convention quite a few years back
he was the only French steeler that ever made it there
well deserved imo
