While I have some free time this summer, I created a temporary website where I'm posting some free practice tracks. The Forum continues to be a tremendous resource, and has helped me a lot. This is my way of giving back.

I hope that copyright violation is not an issue, but I will consider any appropriate advice. Since chord arrangements are ineligible for copyright, I guess only the title of the files would be an issue, maybe.

If you like your practice tracks to be simple, you may not like these, as I have inserted some walking bass parts and dynamics here and there. It's just a little taste of my arranging style.

The temporary site:

Enjoy!

Once again, Michael, you are offering up something great for us. Thank you so much. How do I save these to my computer? I have a Mac, so it may be a bit different.

Thanks..........Chris

Chris, just save the files to your hard drive, then locate one and double click it. It should automatically play if you have Windows MediaPlayer or Winamp.

Jeremy, It takes some considerable work to make these as I play each instrument individually sound-on-sound. I have a lot of experience with MIDI and I created the keyboard and horn parts in a MIDI sequence.

I will be able to respond in more detail later, as I am posting this from an internet cafe, since there is a hugh power outage where I live until thurs night.

Glad you guys like them.
Mike

Sorry Chris, I just realized you said you have a Mac. Maybe someone who has one will chime in. I haven't used an Apple (Mac) in a while. I think you just click the link and follow instructions to download it to your desktop. From there, You should be able to put it where you want it, or play the file on your computer through an external amp.

if you are using OS X, hold down the control key (ctrl) as you click on the link= a small pop up menu will offer you several choices one of which will be "download linked file"

earlier mac OS versions are different in the details but similar in concept.
