Bob: I started a yahoo newsgroup that is devoted to both of my Fender 210's. One is a production model and the second is one of the prototypes. I invite all to visit and please feel free to write with questions and comments. http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/FenderPS210/

Thanks,
Paul Adams

I did a little write up about the PS-210 at the Steel Guitarists of Hampton Roads website which is: www.evertize.com/sutphin They were/are a great guitar and just a bit ahead of their time. I was at Blackie Taylor's store in California when Gene Fields unveiled them. They're a nice piece of craftmanship! Also, Howard, you got any drawers on in that photo? ...JH in Va.

We'll leave that question unanswered...

The PS210 is such a well engineered guitar. I love the 11/32 parallel string spacing and yes, waaaay ahead of it's time.

There's only one downside to this guitar...it is reall, really heavy. I weighed it on a bathroom scale which is not the most accurate, but 62 lbs (without the case)....whew!!

I just hope I don't have to play out...

I guess Fender thought they'd also lose their pants if they stayed with steel guitar.

Howard, just think! If you got excited you could add a "center" knee lever....JH in Va.

Hi group:

Congratulation to Paul Adams for starting a Yahoo! Group supporting the Fender PS-210.

Would it be nice if Gene Fields, the designer of this fine instrument joins this Yahoo! Group and share some more of his comments on this guitar.

The URL directly to this Yahoo! Group is:
