Well gang,
I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I need some money pretty fast for a particular problem in our household and have decided to have a "sale".
I have about 600 of my steel guitar CD's left, "PURE and SIMPLE" and will offer them as a "Christmas special" for the next month and a half or so.
$10.00 each, including postage (except overseas) and upon request will even wrap the CD in a nice Christmas wraping, including a "to and from" tag if you prefer.
AND,,,I'll even mail them to any person/address you may want them delivered to so you don't have to mess with all of that. Order as many of these "stocking stuffers" as you would like. If you order 10 or more I'll even thrown in a couple of extra CD's that you can use for frizbee's or coasters or whatever.
You can order by mail, email or phone, pay by check, cash or money order (sorry, no Pay Pal or credit cards), and I'll get them out ASAP or if you prefer, I'll mail them on a date that you designate.
The song selections are: Mansion on the Hill, Tennessee Waltz, Steel Guitar Rag, Amazing Grace, Making Believe, What a Friend We Have in Jesus, The Last Letter, Honey B (an original), The Old Rugged Cross, Faded Love and Statue of a Fool.
Thanks in advance, God bless and I wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

Hey gang, if you don't have this CD in your collection you are missing one of the best CDs to come out in a long time! And Bobby plays with a limited number of pedals just to show you how "Pure and Simple" it can be done. This is a must have, so don't hesitate to order before they are sold out, and order in time Christmas. And that Emmons P/P really sings! And for only $10.....how can a person go wrong and have Bobby autograph them for you. Russ

Thanks Russell. I'm really looking forward to Sunday the 14'th. Folks, Russ Rickman is one of the greatest steel playing secrets in the nation. Far too few of us have been graced with his immaculate steel guitar playing and musical interpretations on the instrument.
If you're within driving distance of Houston on this coming Sunday, you owe it to yourself to come out and hear Russ just absolutely "tare it up" as well as play some of the prettiest steel you've ever heard.
Check out the location and time in the Events and Announcements section under Southeast Texas Steel Guitar Club meeting.

Bobby my friend, you are much, much too kind…..and after reading your comments, have succeeded in turning my face beet red! Coming from you I am honored and deeply thankful.
But with the Steel Magnolias, I am the bass player and bow to Mr. Jody Cameron’s playing ability and skills……which as you know, takes a back seat to none! Everyone will be in for a real treat to listen to Jody interpret many different styles of music…..country, R n’ R, jazz, western swing, and everything in between. It will be a real listening treat for everyone who attends…….and those girls can sing! Wow!

Thank you again my friend and looking forward to listening to and seeing you this Sunday. Russ

What a wonderful piece of work! I got my CD's today and am totally satisfied. Bobby, you are a credit to the title "Steel Guitar Player". I only wish that I could say that about myself.

Well,,,I'm not trying to push anybody into ordering, but,,,this last batch of orders I mailed out last week, it took almost two hours standing in line at the post office. The man waiting on me said that it will get worse the next three weeks and that delevery time would get much longer the closer we get to Christmas.
It'll probably be the same problem with whoever you order CD's and such from, so keep that in mind.
Thanks to everyone who has ordered so far.
Happy Holidays and God bless,
BB

I'll join in the applause for Bobby's CD "PURE and SIMPLE". He is true to the melody of every song. The tone and technique of his guitar compels you to hit the replay button every time.

It is a great gift for anyone who enjoys great music, whether they are players or just good listeners.

Well my goodness,
Welcome to the Forum family Darrell and thanks for the kind words.
Folks, Darrell Owens is a living testimony of just what God can do through a man's life. Not only is he a man of God, but God has blessed him with the talent to sing and play music as good as anybody, anywhere.
His ability on the pedal steel leaves little to be desired and I'm here to tell ya, you won't believe what all you hear him do on a six string Spanish guitar. It is totally amazing what he does.
Again Darrell, welcome to our family and I am truely blessed to have you as a friend.
God bless,
BB

To answer a couple of emails and a few phone calls as well as anyone else who might want to know,,,,yes sir, I still have a serious amount of "Pure and Simple" CD's left in stock and no sir, I do not have anyother CD's on the market to sell at this time. I'm hoping, if I can ever get caught up moneywise, to put out two more "episodes". One being a Texas swing album and the other an "old time gospel" album.
Thanks for the inquires and "keep those cards and letters coming in neighbors".

I still have the sale on, but they may not get there before Christmas now.
I also have a few playalong tracks and the chord sheets too (not tab).
God bless and Merry Christmas to all.

I'll buy a PURE and SIMPLE CD and whatever else you want to send me for a total of $20, which I'll put in the mail tomorrow.

Don't care if it gets here by Christmas or not. It's just a present for me.

I got to hear Bobby play at Gulfport, he is as good as it gets. Got a copy of the cd while there and it's ten bucks well spent.
