When "Steels On Wheels" was released a few months back, I had a run of CDs made with 10 of the most radio friendly cuts from the project, aimed for European radio airplay. I still have about 50 of these and now offer them along with the full rhythm tracks CD for 20.00, shipping included. Considering that the rhythm tracks sell for 17.50 (15 songs), the 10 song steel guitar CD will only cost you 2.50 (and I pay the freight).

The songs on the CD are:

1. Wheels
2. Hickory Wind
3. One Step Forward
4. Juanita
5. Glass Hearts
6. Brass Buttons
7. Desert Rose
8. Sin City
9. One Hundred Years From Now
10. Devil In Disguise (Christine's Tune)

Thanks Steve, Johnny, and others. I still have some these 10 song promo discs. The CD just received good reviews in Buscadero (Italy), Maverick (U.K.), and Country Music People (U.K.) magazines. It has worked it's way into some circles I don't normally reach with my usual country stuff. This one has been a lot of fun! Thanks to all who have bought the CD.

Yes, Scott. It is a Zum on the cover. On this particular project I used 3 pedal steels; an Emmons Legrande, a Fender 800, and the Zum pictured on the insert. Because there is so much steel, steel, steel, everywhere steel on the CD, I tried to differentiate the tones as much as possible on the intros, fills, solos, and melody lines. I also employed a Mutron phasor, delays, and "Pod" distortion, and a couple of amps to better accomplish this.

Peter,

This is not a discount offer for the Steels On Wheels CD. This is a 10 song promotional disc with abreviated graphics. The full project has five more songs on it and they are some of the better ones, but they were a little too progressive for the radio market the discs were sent to. Just cleaning house. The Rhythm Tracks CD supplied with this deal contains all 15 songs.

I have very few left, and they will not be repressed.
