A few pictures:

I should have cleaned the back of the amp I guess. But lifes to short to clean the back side of amps. Sorry I was just in a hurry.........bb

How often do you see a 25 year old amp that the bottom is not scuffed up?This amp has not had a lot of use.

Brad Sarno wrote this about the Peavey LTD's

Quote:
notice all the little transistors and the total lack of IC's. This is an all discrete amplifier. Today you'll only find very high end audiophile gear made this way. It's a delicate design to build thus too expensive to build for the big market. In it's day it was really the only option because the audio IC chip was just developing. Modern high-end IC's do sound great, like the Burr-Brown chips found in the Peavey upgrade kits for their post-Session 400/LTD amps. But, there is a real warmth and sweetness to these old transistors in a discrete circuit used for a guitar amp.

Someone needs this amp.If you buy it and keep it nice. It'll bring more money 2 years from now that what you'll have in it.They don't make em like this anymore.Never will.Cost to much to do so........Food fer Thought................J Robert Boggs III.

Absolutely beautiful amp. How does the LTD compare to the Nashville 400 weight-wise? Thanks

The Nashville 400 weighs 62 lbs.
The LTD 400 weighs 50 lbs. I have 2 of them, great amps.Alot easier on the back plus they have 200 watts power.

I would love to have that amp. I still think it is the best steel amp that I ever owned. My only problem is "where to put the thing". I have gear stacked everywhere. I am trying to move things around to make room....would use that amp and leave others here.
