I just watched Minnie Driver's band on Letterman. Some tasty steel playing there.. great singer support..
got me wondering who that steeler might be.
Anyone?

Yeah, I watched it too. Sorry, I can't help ID the picker or the guitar. Always nice to see steel on TV.

I ad no clue Minnie Driver had a band. After reading this post I did a little research on her and her music. I read that she had a record deal in the works before she was in her first big movie, and i guess it fell through. I read that on the record, the pedal steel player was Ben Peeler. Not sure if that was him on the tube, but hopefully it helps.
