I did all three of those and they were excellent, a really well thought out method that gives you useful stuff right away.

I spent a week with him also and that helped enormously.

As far as a methodical foundation goes, I haven't seen anything better, or even close.

Once you've got your bearings with those I highly recommend his Honky Tonk heroes play-along CDs. Some of the renderings are a little stiff, but you learn a ton of classic material, and you're right in the hot seat, just like you will be with a band.

Definitely, methodical is the word.

There is NO moment when you feel the need to rewind because you are lost. It's easy to notice that he is an experienced teacher.

It helped me incredibly.

Great course. I have most all of his courses and I have yet to find one that I haven't been able to learn from. I started with the "Up From The Top" course and from there went to some of his courses to help build technique. I did things a little backwards but I like the way he teaches and it's very easy to learn and more important remember what you learn. Best part is that every single course I have from him goes through the scales in all different ways, so wether you know it or not you learn the scales as well. Just my opinion but I don't think you can go wrong with any of Jeff's courses.
Only thing that would be better is to have a teacher sitting down beside you to show you.
