Anyone catch the players on the Opry Sat.15th
The young player with Steve Wariner was in
my store a few weeks back. His first name is
Travis. Hope someone can list his last. If you think he's a good steel man, and he is,you should hear him play guitar. Who was the player with Andy Griggs.Love his playing and that old Sho-Bud and Sho-Bud Tee shirt. Did you see Tommy White playing the old Professional with Jack Green. What a player.
Over-all a good night for Pedal Steel.

Great night for pedal steel on the opry! Chad Udeen (son of Al) from Mpls. Mn. was on steel for Andy Griggs, he is a great player. You taught him well Al!! Great to see Tommy with the Old Sho-Bud also! I'm not sure what model Sho-Bud Chad was playing, guess I'll have to check with Al. It didn't have the regular "Card" fret markers?

It looked like an Emmons with a Shobud logo on the front as it was mica with the metal around all around it. I've never seen a 'bud like that......JH

Tommy is showing , that it dosen't bother him to go from one guitar to another. Apparently, he is not obligated to play any certain model......al |
