Perhaps many of you have already done or are involved in doing it at this time......
Forumite George "Keoki" Lake from up Canada way has for a number of decades been sending around a little package to a dear and talented group of fellow steel players........on an irregular basis.
Each participant records one side of a 30 minute tape of their playing and then after listening to the other participants' latest contribution, sends the entire package on to the next sceduled recipient. It goes around the world. Some are professionals and others are avid bedroom enthusiasts of steel guitar.
Some of you might wish to give it some thought. It could be more enjoyable than you might at first imagine.
Just a thought from and old picker person.

Man what a cool idea that is! Do you record just yourself or can you put some of the stuff you've recorded in the studio on the tape?

The way Keoki's group does it.........some talk; some play favorite steelers in their life; some play bedroom style; other's insert stuff they've done on stage or where ever. It would be up to the host.
Just a great way to meet others on a more personal basis and hear where others might be including yourself.........
NO HARD Rules, I wouldn't imagine.
