Stephen,
Boy, did you bring back some memories for me. I played those shows in the 70's and it was always the last show of the year we did during those times. I always left Bakersfield the next day to come home and spend Christmas with my mom and dad....and yes, great thought on the unwrapped toy..It means a lot to kids who don't always have the best time around Christmas..

Stephen I was there also that night. I remember the press of the crowd when they opened the doors at the auditorium and people were pushing from behind so hard they almost broke the doors off. I was almost in a panic to keep from falling down and getting trampled. I think it's called the soccer stadium mentality. |
