Does anyone recall a song called "MODESTY"

The song came out in the late 60s or early 70s. I don't recall the singers name, but there were steel guitar intros and licks all over this tune. Does anyone know who the steel player was?
The singer kept bragging on himself and then would sing "My Greatest Virtue is Modesty."
