Bob, seeing that you worked at Mesa Boogie and play through one now, can you give me a hint about settings on a Studio .22? I am playing steel for the first time this Saturday and am just going to use the Boogie until I can get a proper steel amp. I had what I thought were good settings, but then why not go to someone who knows? Thanks, Bob.

I played through one of those for some years, but I really don't remember my settings.

I'd start with the gain (first knob) on 4 and the bass on 10. Use the master volume to set your overall room volume. Turn up mid and treble until it sounds good.

Thanks, Bob. I love the sound of tubes. Should do well. It's a great amp.
