Just replaced the pot on a Goodrich volume pedal that was scratchy. Now I cannot keep the string on the pedal or the pedal will not shut off the volume completely. Are there any topics available on this subject or can someone please advise me the proper way to put the string back on?

I had an e-mail telling me Bobbe Seymore had this on his website. I never found anything about the string on a Goodrich pedal. I might have overlooked it but any help would be appreciated...Paul King

There it is! Keep the pully just away from the pot face, or the pot will seize up after just a few pedal-travels (it pulls the shaft outward and binds it up). If that happens, remove the pot and work the shaft back and forth, it will loosen up.

Thanks Ken for the link. The pedal is now working. Just another reason why this is a great website.
