I use a harmonizer on a few songs. What effects patching would I have to do to get the harmony note more delayed to might liking? Two amps? Effects sequence?

Larry,
I have an IPS33B, you can set the delay value individually for each note.(harmonized output, that is...Left and Right) If you need it, I can email you the procedure to set them.

Larry, Eddie,
Here is a link to the Digitech page, scroll down and the link to download the manual is there:
Click Me
If you have questions after reading it, feel free to send me an email and I'll help you out. The manual is pretty straightforward. BTW, the IPS33B is great for stereo chorus when using two amps |

No I did not, I do not have the 33B so I can not adjust the delay of the harmony note. Does anyone know of a newer unit on the market that will do this?
