Just curious if anyone out there besudes me uses the DanElectro DanEcho stomp box? I love the warmth of the echo it provides and really adds alot of depth to my sound. I had used an older Alesis Microverb for a while, but went to the DanEcho for reduced bulk and especially the sound.
Just wondering...

Ricky,
I used to have one of those, until some uninvited guest decided that he needed it more than I did. I was burglarized, bud. They took a few small things, but left all the good stuff - except that pedal. I've missed it ever since. Anyway, I ran regular guitars through it. Didn't own a steel at the time - nice warm sound, and a lot easier to use and haul than an Echoplex.

I used a Dan-Echo for about a year. Great sounding pedal, But one day it just quit working. The light would come on, no signal off, and the faintest trace of a signal when on. I removed the bottom cover, and didn't see any bad solder connections, but couldn't figure out how to access the jacks.
I know that this is a pretty popular pedal, and I haven't heard of anyone else having trouble with theirs. Anyone? Maybe this should have it's own topic.

Th analog switch IC in your Dan-Echo is faulty. It's an easy fix - you say the light does come on? Then it's not the switching circuit itself, but rather the part of the electronic switch that carries the guitar signal. I can fix these, please email me.
