Does, or has, anyone use(d) this amp for
a steel? What do you think?
Thanks,

There was a thread on this unit a couple of days ago. Do a search or just display all the electronics threads in the last 10 days and you will find it. |

I used it and got a great tone with my Sierra. You have to get used to the "equalizer", it's very special, but once you understood it you can get a wide range of different sounds. And it's the only SS amp I've ever heard that REALLY sound like a tube amp. Unfortunately it' wattage doesn't allow to play gigs with it, but it's o.k. for practice, rehearsals and recording. Too bad I had to sell it...
Needless to say it's also a killer guitar-amp. I sold mine to the singer of my band who also plays rythm guitar and she sounds great!
