I would agree that the guitar is a Framus.
John Kavanaugh who posts in this section
of the Forum from time to time has one pretty
much the same, a twin neck, only his is white.
He had the guitar here at my home last year
and it had a real good sound.
The levers are preset and change the tunings.
They do not act like pedals.
I did not have much time to assess the guitar
as far as accuracy etc. but he seemed to have
pretty good command with making the changes.
It's the only one I have ever seen until you directed me to Ebay to-day.

Quick-change tuners could be pretty handy on a double 8. Changing A6 to C6 or B11 would be fun.

Carvin had a "Change-O-Matic" bridge back in the '60s that worked pretty good. It gave you 3 different tunings with the flip of a lever (that was sometimes in your way!). It couldn't have been very popular, as I've only seen 2 of them in 40 years.
