This area is for discussion of musical topics not related to the steel guitar. Any topics that don't fit that description will be either moved to the appropriate area or deleted.

....Jim, this should be interesting....b0b is going to have to decide which topics deserve to be in the "Country Music" area and which ones will be bumped over here because they're not "Country Music". Make some popcorn and kick back.

Well, I understand there are only two kinds of music.... Country and Western. (Sorry Bob, it was too easy.) But Bob has said this is for non-steel music, and I guess that would mostly be non-country. This does throw the door wide open for b@njo, you know.... And accordion.

(See my online music link below for some qualifying non-steel efforts.)

There's a lot of people who think that there's "Music" and then there's "Country Music", but I didn't think b0b was one of them!

I predict that this area will be a big success, despite my cynical comment above. Look at the responses we've already gotten from some serious professional musicians who play MUSIC, not just country. I love MUSIC, I think I'm gonna like it here. Hope I'm welcome.

B.J., you, of course, know the definition of a "gentleman"? Someone who knows how to play the banjo... but doesn't!

Great idea, Joe! Let's have two forum sections, labeled "Good Music" and "Bad Music", instead?

Isn't that why the pedal steel has two necks?
