Built in August '82, dark brown, shadow tiger stripe. This is a killer pedal steel with Emmons C6th and E9th.
The first $2350 gives it a new home.
I pay shipping and insurance to the lower 48. Can e-mail pix. |

No Larry, I haven't given up.
I just got a promotion in my job about the time I bought this jewel and I've been so busy, I haven't had a chance to really play it like I wanted to.
Rather than let it sit around gathering dust and being inactive, I thought I'd like to let someone else have it that could give it a good workout and enjoy it.
My job looks like its going to take too much of my time. About the only thing I'll have time for now is my job and a little relaxin" time with my Harlow.
I'm sure sometime in the future, I'll get the itch again and have to scratch it. |

You're right Chris. This is a real honey of a steel. It's probably one somebody's been dreaming about for a long time.
When did your 'Bud Pro III Custom come off the line? I talked to Bobbe Seymour about mine and he dated it for me. I think he was working at Sho-Bud at the time mine was being made. Had all the records from this Sho-Bud era. |

Chris, serial number on mine is 10231, has tear drop levers but non-slip pedals. Don't understand the serial numbering system, yours is a higher number than mine and mine has a birthdate of August '82.
Go figger. |

Bill the Sho-bud Serial numbers mean nothing to when they were built; they are only there for personal records. Also; I don't know how Bobbe Seymour got 1982; as the round crossbars were discontinued when the SuperPro's came out very late '70's; and all Sho-bud's had hex crossbars after that.
Yours is more like 1977-78.

Ricky, I guess steel guitar serial numbers are as elusive and mind boggline as Gibson and Regal vintage dobro numbers.
Nobody can make heads or tail of them.
Thanks for your information Ricky.

Nice steel, don't have the cash or would jump on it, use to have one almost identical, purchase from Rythum City, Atlanta,Ga. If I'm not mistaken the color on yours was originally willow green, same as mine, but turned due to UV rays and smoke. I could mow your lawn for 3 or 4 summers. No huh? Good Luck with the sale. |

Good to hear from you Don. I'd make a better deal on the price since I can almost hit you with a rock from up here in Clarkesville.
I could save on the packaging, insurance and UPS charges and deliver it myself for just $2150.
You're right about the 'Bud, how long ago did you sell yours? |

You're right, were not for apart, I appreciate your offer but I have another steel I have to sell, before I have some more mad money, Its a D-10 Professional 8&2 very good sounding steel. If any magic happen before someone else graps it I be back with you. Don
