I was just looking at Rebel & Ricky's Tab and Audio site and enjoying the great licks on there from the 50's. Could anyone suggest some good albums to get by Webb Pierce, Eddy Arnold, Marty Robbins, Kitty Wells etc.
I love this stuff and I've searched records stores here in England for 50's releases by these people so if anyone can suggest some good titles and where to get 'em I'd appreciate it.

There's an excellent compilation in the Famous Country Music Makers series (which is made in the UK) by Eddy Arnold. It features 18 songs, all with Little Roy Wiggins on steel guitar. I got my copy from Collectors' Choice Music, an excellent source for old musics of all types.
I've seen other Famous Country Music Makers series including Bob Wills and Webb Pierce, but I don't have any information on the series right now.
