This is truely a once in a lifetime offer. This guitar is so mint that the strings on it are original from the factory. It's black and has 9 pedals and 6 knees. The case is red and doesn't have a scratch. This is really a new 1969 P/P. I know it sounds impossible but it's true. This guitar belongs to Jody Carver and due to events that we all know about he has decided to make it available for sale. Why am I the one offering it? I have had my eye on this guitar for quite some time and was given first chance at it. I have no idea what someone might be willing to pay for it. I know what I'm willing to pay but in fairness to Jody, as his friend, I wanted him to get all that he could. Also I promised if I took care of this it would not become a circus. If you're not serious or if this thread gets out of hand I promise to pull it and take it to another source for sale. I owe that to Jody. Please if you have a serious bid email me. Only emailed bids will be considered valid. If you choose to comment about this offering please make them respectful. I will be communicating offers to Jody and after 2 weeks a decision will be made.

This guitar will soon have a new home. Frankly, I hope it's mine but you have the chance for it to be yours. The bidding starts at $4000.00. Pictures available upon request.

IMHO, This sounds like a ‘Real Deal’! Just about any ‘New’ PSG w/9&6 will cost ‘a lot’ more! My opinion is that between ‘age & condition’, “Condition” is primary concern, but; here you'll get the best of both worlds! Someone should jump on this opportunity now! How could you possibly go wrong?

I personally played this guitar.
It is the real deal. Low miles!
Ron Sr. hand delivered it to Jody back when it was new.

Jody loves the Non-Pedal Style and never was much of a Pedal Player, so it remained mostly unused.

I'm already over my limit with Steels or I'd be tempted. Good luck to all.

Joey

As I expected I have received a lot of interest in this wonderful guitar. The most asked question is the serial #. The number is 1399. I will post periodically how the bidding is going in an effort to help you in your decision. Out of respect to those bidding I'm not going to list names. At the end I will if they want. The bidding is up to $4500.00. To make this even more fair I am offically out of the bidding process. Somebody is going to get a jewel.

Another question asked is about the setup. I know it's an Emmons setup. The knees I'll know later. Things were a little different then. I was talking to a bidder and I realized that Jody has kept all the paper work that came with the guitar such as bill of sale and original setup. It truely will be like stepping back in time and buying a new Emmons. If you are a "collector" how could you pass up this opportunity.

As promised this wonderful guitar has a new home. It now belongs to Forum member Tommy Wayne from Los Vegas. Jody and I appreciate all the interest in the guitar. The guitar is where it needs to be and the sale will help make Jody's life a little easier. Don't you just love a win/win situation.

Thanks a million guys (no it didn't go for quite that much)
