I'm putting my MSA Vintage XL up for sale. It is Emerald Green. Double Neck-10 with 9 pedals, and 5 knee levers. One lever is a vertical on the left. The set up is LKL raise 4&8 from E to F,LKR raises 1&7 from F# to G,RKL lowers 4&8 from E to Eb,RKR lowers 2nd string from Eb to D,and to C# with half stop.Vertical lowers 5&10 to Bb.C6th pedals are standard with D note on first string, and 9th pedal lowers the two E strings on C6th from E to Eb.This guitar is in excellent condition. I take care of my equpment.
I play my Zum when I go out on the road. The reason I'm selling this MSA,is to buy another lightweight guitar. These MSA guitars are built like a tank, and hold tune really well.I haven't took this guitar out in 5 years.Since I've had back surgery, the lighter equipment, the better for me.
At present, I have the guitar with a liftkit I made myself to raise it higher. That can be taken off. Just extended the pedal rods.
Also I installed a E-66 pickup in the E-9th neck, but still have the original "Supersustain II pickup.
I would like to get $1400.00 for this guitar.
E-mail me for any questions you have. Thanks.

Also the RKL lowers the 3rd string on C6th from C to B,and the LKR also works on C6th by lowering 2nd string E to Eb,and raising 6th string E to F.I'd forgotten to include this information in the first post.Thanks.

Hey Kenny . Anyone that is looking for a great steel this is it . Kenny spit shines his equipment and i can vouch for him that he takes great care of his equipment . The price is right to sell . It seems a little cheap for this guitar . Believe me this a great selling price for a nice guitar . G.P.
By the way are we looking to see a new w---- in the hood ? Just wondering .

Hey Gary, thanks for the kind words, and the bump. I was wondering if you could take about 3 or 4 pictures of my MSA,and post them on here? I don't have a digital camera.
I played three of Jerry Fessenden's guitars at Bobbe's last week, and I want to get a Fessey to replace the MSA. The lighter weight the equipment for me,since I had back surgery, the better. Ever who ends up buying this MSA will have a great steel guitar.
There is alot of unforgetable sentimental value in this guitar that I will long cherish.

I can't believe you're selling your MSA.
I remember when you bought it new.
This guitar has to be in mint condition.

Hey Rick, I remember you stopped by the day it arrived, and played this MSA.That was October,1981. This guitar is still in excellent condition. The weight is the big issue for me selling it. Like to get another light-weight steel to replace it. I had back surgery two years ago,and the lighter the equipment, the better.

I may add that, if anyone has the "Steel Guitarist" magazines,There's a picture of a MSA Vintage XL on the back cover of the issue with Buddy Emmons on the front cover. That's how my MSA looks. Emerald Green just like the one pictured.
