Osborn brothers lick

Post by Jeff Waller »

There's a steel lick at 1:56. It does a little walk up or something. Can someone tab that for me please and thanks. Ive been playing steel for several years but i never done alot of speed picking. Thanks a million.

I googled it and it was recorded 1977 buddy emmons played steel on it. The steel doesnt take a solo, it just does some fill work all through the song. Its the version from the 78 album from rocky top to muddy bottom.the steel does a little walk up riff right after he says muddy bottom. Its very lightly played.

Its say between 1:54 & 1:58 just to give a little play room before ya go into it. Its a very short walk up riff

Thanks Bill. Ive tried and tried to get that lick and i couldnt get it. I got another bluegrass tune i wanna try that in. My band does fox on the run and i think that may work for me in the chorus. Again many thanks
