Darryl Logue has left the building.
On February 19th, my old friend and lifelong Steel Guitar guide passed away. He was a beautiful, expressive musician and an amazing soul. Here's a page with more thoughts from myself and others:

Darryl introduced me to Bruce Zumsteg and his instruments in 1984. He also did a lot of PSG cabinet work for Bruce. Thanks again for that connection, Darryl.

RIP. Being in Kansas City, I should know him but don't think we've met.

He was the PSG for Denver Locke for many years. We played together in that band and had a blast.Jack Stoner wrote: 6 Mar 2025 9:27 am RIP. Being in Kansas City, I should know him but don't think we've met.

Darryl had been a wonderful friend since around the turn of the century.
not long after I came to Kansas City.
We'd get together over trading a few licks, doing a favor for one
another or just to 'talk things over' . . What great guy he was.

Re: Darryl Logue has left the building.
I met Darryl when he purchased one of the first three guitars that I built in 1976. That began a friendship that lasted throughout the years. When I learned that he was a skilled cabinet maker,
I contracted him to build my guitar cabinets, both the 'Stage One' and the pro models. He was always there to help when I needed it. Darryl was a great friend and more importantly, a great person. I'll miss him a lot.

I played upright bass in a rockabilly band with Darryl for a handful of years. I enjoyed our time and Miller hIgh lifes together. RIP friend.
