"Ringo & Friends at The Ryman" aired Monday night on CBS. Looks (to me) to be mostly the same backing band but with the esteemed Paul Franklin on pedal steel. I can't tell who is playing steel in the YouTube video link above.

There's several other great guests on the Ryman show. Unfortunately it looks like you need Paramount plus to watch it now.

Russ Pahl is playing on the clip from the Opry a few weeks ago. I was lucky enough to be there for that one; it was pretty cool.

Did anyone see Ringo’s CBS special from the Ryman? Paul Franklin was featured a lot.

We did. See Bob Sykes' earlier post. I also tuned in.

One of those T Bone Burnett deals.

I just happened on it while channel surfing. Ringo is the man. I've always thought he was the most carefree musician of the Beatles and really seemed to enjoy what he was doing.

Don Was there on bass on a lot of the stuff. He seems to be a fixture on all these type things.

My wife and I enjoyed the show…a lot.
