Session 400 Amplifier

Post by Bill Duncan »

I have Session 400 that I like but never play anymore. I now use either a 50-watt tube amp or a Katana. I wonder how many still use the old Session 400. They are a great amplifier and great sound but big and heavy.

This one's pretty heavy, but it's not really all that big. A great amp. I love it:

It's had a lot of playing time. I bought it new the first year they were introduced (1974). Too heavy to lug onto a job for me very often, but I still use it at home.

I still use mine. 1975 I think. It’s getting pretty tired. Needs new caps I’m sure.
