Bill and Gloria Gaither's Gentle Shepherd

Heard this in Church a few weeks ago, so with a new 2024 BIAB in hand made this track for it and then played it... I doubt how Bill envisioned it.

It sounds great. I've heard the Martins sing it and they did a great job. Send it to Bill. He might record your version. You never know.

Thanks Tony, glad you liked it ... I don't think Bill is a fan of Steel guitar, which makes no sense to me. ;-)

Hey, thank you Jim. I know you can get most of the same chords on E9th, (played C6th on E9th for years before actually delving in to the actual C6th tuning) but there's just something about how they sound on C6th to my ear.

I wouldn't want to upset him ... So I'll probably not send him my version ;-)
