Open Country - Shenandoah and more

Post by Susan Alcorn (deceased) »

Here's a video of a free improv gig I did a couple nights ago at the Comptoir du Vin in Baltimore, Maryland. It was a 25 minute set (non-stop), and the video picks up right in the middle of it, much of the music not easy listening. We never discussed what we were going to play, except that right before we started, I told the bassist that I might go into a country tune and he should play whatever he wanted. The other two musicians had never played that tune before and didn't know that I was going to go into that tune, so they were improvising along.

Shenandoah come at about 2:30 or so. I hope you enjoy the music.

Interesting, Susan. You always come up with something new
and different. I enjoyed Shenandoah. I did listen to the entire track.
