You guys that have reserved your room is the rate really $167 a night plus taxes and fees? I don’t know if I can afford that for 4-5 days that’s nearly $1000.

I only stay two nights since I live close. The room rates are higher but the Sheraton was raising fees on everything. The main ballroom fee and fees for all other rooms went up in price considerably. I have visited with Albert Tally and Gene Brown who are on the board. The TSGA had to do what was best for the organization and the cost of running the show. I still believe it is going to be great again. Sadly everything is higher that I see on a daily basis. Albert told me there is plenty of parking as well at this venue.. That being said the show will still be close to the airport which helps people who fly in. Hopefully it works out for you where you can attend.

Jeremy, you are right about the cost for 5 nights being close to $1000. However, you are dealing in American $!! I've booked my room in Canadian $; this is MY cost. $1,334.17 Canadian is my cost of hotel room in Dallas for 2025! Not sure that I'll be able to return for 2026?? Hopefully, the rate may improve for me by next March!

I totally understand Paul!!
By no means do I fault the association. From where I am I wish there was more I could do to help. I’m very appreciative of all the association is doing to keep the show running. I don’t take for granted that every year I come could be the last. I grew up going to the ISGC and could t imagine life not going and since it’s shut down I have attended the TSGA JAMBOREE every year and can’t imagine not going. Last year was the first year to bring my wife and she absolutely had the best time!!! My son never got to experience the ISGC. The one time he went he was an infant. So the TSGA is a major event every year for him. I will be there in 2025! Hoping inflation takes a nose dive over the next couple years!!🙏

Looking into it... just called... they will charge 20$/night parking fee... that's what Amy the hotel operator told me.

See y'all there anyway!
Too much junk to list... always getting more.

Albert talked at Sunday’s meeting. That parking fee is supposed to be waived. I did call Albert today and if anyone stays at the hotel while the show is going on will not pay a parking fee. If you stay at a different hotel it is possible they will charge a parking fee.

It will be great to have you again Rhonda. If you fly into DFW airport the hotel is very close to the airport. It is about a 1/2 mile west of the Sheraton. It is going to be another great show.

Thanks Paul. I’m very excited to attend again. I’m flying in a day early, renting a car and staying over close to the Stockyards the first night, so I can go see Landon Dodd at the Longhorn. I’ll be back Thursday afternoon getting geared up for all the good steel picking.

They just cancelled it without cost at this time. There is a cancellation policy as the show time gets closer. But I don’t know what that is. She just told me I was well with in the policy.
