HELP WITH JOHN HUGHEY's "TRUE LOVE"

Post by John A. Russell »

Hey all

I have been trying to put together a tab of John Hughey playing "True Love"
The Track is on the "SLIDE" CD

The part is at 1 minute 58 Seconds, it sounds like an augmented run, but the way John played it was awesome.

I have tabbed the parts but I am sure it's wrong.

I was hoping some of you pro players might be able to help me. I would love to nail this one.

Kind regards

Hi JR. I always loved playing that song while in the band of the Always, Patsy Cline show. The bridge chords are absolutely gorgeous.
Sorry I can't help you. All I can say is. Papa John was awesome. Thanks for posting this. RP

Thanks anyway, I will keep listening and picking, one day I will figure it.
Sat right in front of John a couple of years before he died.
I got to talk to him one evening before the Station Inn opened.
