After a few years of being away from the steel, it's now time for me to reunite with my steel! I haven't played my steel in six years due to playing acoustic jam sessions with the dobro, so I've now decided to make both instruments accessible for me to play. The way it's gonna happen is, I will play dobro in my church band and at jam sessions, and play steel at my house, where it will be set up all the time and doesn't travel! I don't do the one over the other thing, meaning, "Which is better" because I love both instruments.

Just enjoy the instrument. It is so wonderful and is a joy to play.

Sounds like a good plan Brett. I just bought a dobro a couple weeks ago and I'm really learning to enjoy it.
