Bobby is one of the players that inspired me to learn steel.
If there's one word for him it's "stylish". So cool!

There's quite a bit of Hawaiian style steel in the SpongeBob soundtrack. I still call that up a major 7th complete the octave cadence the "spongebob" cadence cause that's what I associate it with from when I was a kid. (Think the end of "Aloha Oe")

playing lap steel on Ed, Edd N Eddy. He does the wah wah trick with the tone knob a couple of times.
