Howdy Folks
We at Outwest are having a meet and greet on August 17th/ 2024, from 10.00am to 6:00 PM. Here in Bassano Alberta (2hours east of Calgary) at this time it's at our place. We are looking forward to meeting a bunch of steel guitar enthusiasts for a fun day of information exchange, conversation about our beloved steel guitars...and some playing, of course in a learning environment. So bring your guitars, seats, picks and bars and a patch cord and we will get you plugged in.
There will be a free Steel Guitar Seminar, as well as some one on one time with one of Canada's most accomplished steel players, Mr. John Lacey. (Sponsored by Outwest Music).
Also on hand will be another remarkable fine steel player Dwayne Neufeld to help answer any questions you may have and of course like all of us talk steel guitar.
Myself and Lori will be there to answer any technical questions for you may have from Steel guitars themselves to accessories.
There will be free burgers, hotdogs, and water, soft drinks, and of course coffee LOL.
There will be a chance to win some door prizes, as well, for all the (player) attendees.
There is inexpensive camping at the town campground or a hotel and motel and a few restaurants in town, if needed.
I will be making up an itinerary, directions and a information package for the players and there spouses that wish to attend.
