Not a technical question… as steel makers evolved their guitars , we’ve seen the different colored flocking on Emmons…Sho Bud underneath finishes ect. A lot of the Franklins posted have the darker black underneath, mine is all natural maple finish.To be honest, that’s what I like….Can’t remember if Sr. asked my preference on that when I ordered it in St Louis or not…. Just wondering if some of you Franklin owners can chime in on what yours is.. or insite on the cabinet making on Paul Sr’s guitars… that I personally, am very fond of….thanks to all, and health , best wishes to Sr.

It’s teal… outdoor Florida sunshine….was another teal sold on the forum a couple years ago or so, from a Canadian player….
