This is a fascinating doco from 1968 that documents the production of Lenny's first album. His relationship with Nashville is of interest and adds some context for Buddy Emmons' experience with him detailed in Steve Fishell's book.

Fantastic. I've been a long time listener of Lenny but that first album was always elusive. I didn't hear it until about twenty years ago.
To see this now is really great. He was such an incredible musician.

Buddy had a second (not "Minors Aloud") Lenny Breau record that he played on one side. I can't remember the name.

I think you mean the Buddies album with Buddy Spicher on Flying Fish. I used to have both.

Buddy is on 4 or 5 tracks of Lenny's '7 String Swing'.

Swingin On A 7-String is great... jazzy renditions of mostly country classics. the original title was When Lightn' Strikes when it was released in 1982

the reissue has a bonus cut which also features Buddy, he's on 5 of the 11 tunes
