Looking for suggestions on dobro instructional material. I've been playing pedal steel for about 5 years, and found the Jeff Newman material was extremely helpful in the beginning - giving me a good understanding of the fundamentals and technique.

Are there any dobro online courses, DVDs, books that would compare? Any suggestions for a person that mostly wants to focus on country and bluegrass backup?

You can't go wrong with any of the late Stacy Phillips' books. Especially this one:
