My wife hired Jeff Skorik to paint a room in our house and as only happens in Nashville he turned out to be a singer/songwriter - and a pretty decent one. He asked me to play lap steel on one of the tunes on his album.

He sent me a scratch track and I recorded my lap steel on it and sent it back and then they finished it.

It's always great to meet another musician, whether they are world famous or painting a room in your house.

Nice!!!
Hopefully he autographed the wall somewhere. Sounds like he might have a great future.
Steel was just perfect in that song.
