Hey y'all - I've got a friend who found a cool old Sahara steel guitar but its missing a return spring. Anyone out there know if these guitars used parts from other manufacturers or is it a situation where he will have to make his own parts?

Thanks for any info.

Frank Carter of Infinity Steel guitars was involved with Sahara eons ago. That being said- it should be easy to find a similar spring at a hardware store of you can send me one and I'll get close.

These were great guitars. Built is Shallowater Texas by Bob Stuffelbeam, Made all parts, cabinets, and did his own pickups. I think may have quit building around 1975.
