Hey y'all - I've got a friend who found a cool old Sahara steel guitar but its missing a return spring. Anyone out there know if these guitars used parts from other manufacturers or is it a situation where he will have to make his own parts?
Thanks for any info. _________________ '02 Carter S-12 uni

Frank Carter of Infinity Steel guitars was involved with Sahara eons ago. That being said- it should be easy to find a similar spring at a hardware store of you can send me one and I'll get close. |

These were great guitars. Built is Shallowater Texas by Bob Stuffelbeam, Made all parts, cabinets, and did his own pickups. I think may have quit building around 1975. |

I doubt one will find parts for them...
