Hi Johnie,
I was aware that Sonny Burnett was a staff player on the Opry. I used to have that album that he, Hal Rugg and Weldon Myrick put out many years ago. But I don’t think he played a Clark steel. I’m only familiar with Sonny Curtis from his time with George and Tammy.
Anyway, those are some nice guitars you have. The Sho King is especially pretty. |

| A friend of mine has Sonny's SD-10 Clark guitar and needs 3 new pedal rods for it. Not sure if you can obtain any or not. I remember Sonny's red/maroon Clark really well. The brown Clark there looks like the one Dennis Robison owned here in Columbus. Dennis ended up getting a Carter guitar. He passed away a few years ago with cancer. Sonny passed away a couple three years ago. Miss his good sense of humor. |
