Thanks JD , I believe all keyless Excels are 24-1/8" scale , but I could be wrong of course |
Some are, some are 25”, Damir.
Thanks!… JD |
Any word out on what the scale length really is?
Thanks!... J-D. |
JD are you interested in buying it ? I’ll post scale length as soon as I have time to stop by my storage , but that won’t be any time soon |
I may be interested if it's a 25 1/2" scale, else not at all.
But I don't want to bother you. Never mind.

Damir. I found the easiest way to measure scale length is to measure from the fifth fret to the same point on the 12th fret and multiply by 4. This avoids guessing where the center of an arc is. These Excels are Sierra’s on steroids !….More raises, and lowers, and other features, while weighing far less than a Sierra……I’ve owned a few Sierra U12’s and have owned only one Excel….I should have never sold the Excel….Fabulous steel in every way !…….
The ability to change out pickups was the only feature that I missed on the Sierra’s that I owned |
