I am restoring a Gibson Console Grande and am lacking an 8 string nut for one of the necks.
I would appreciate some help in obtaining one.
Thanks,
Erv

I could take measurements if you need them for fabrication, if it comes to that...
Good luck on the quest |

David,
Thanks for the come back.
If nothing shows up I'll get back to you.
The nut is chromed steel.

I've had a few responses but nothing nailed down for certain.

Erv, if you can't find an original, Gibson-style nuts are easy enough to fabricate from 3/16" x 3/4" aluminum bar stock:
A chunk of aluminum, a razor saw, a belt/disc sander, some nut files, some sandpaper, a coupla hours (or less), and voila! |
