Hey Daniel!
I have a 1975 Sho-Bud Pro 1 pretty much just like yours, but a different color. I added two knee levers to mine. I really like the sound of it. Yours sure is pretty and I bet it sounds great! I really do like that old-school Sho-Bud sound. I hope that it gives you years of pleasure.

Thanks Mitch. The sound has been a revelation. Ive had the pleasure to play other steels, but you're right. It's that old school sound that could only be satisfied by a Sho Bud that I was after and this exceeded my imagination.
Mitch, just out of curiosity, which levers did you add on to yours?

Daniel,
I added two left leg knee levers. I came from the factory with only two right leg knee levers. The parts alone were around $400-$450 but they were flawless. I bought them from Michael "somebody" (I can't remember how to spell his last name) but I think his business is called PSGPARTS.COM. For me, it was money well spent. The levers raise and lower the "E's". My steel has the double raise, single lower changer. When I play old classic country on it, Jimmy Day "drips" off of it. It can be a little challenging to play compared to my other steels, but I really like it.
