| Short answer is yes…now, my experience with Izzy provides better string separation. I’ve used it with a black box and neither “cancelled” the other out. I’m now using a V8 Octal Preamp and have sold my Black Box and now selling the Izzy. Hope this helps a little Ron. (Suggest you also do a search here on the Forum about this as well)…Thanks, Carl |

Ron,
The V8 is really a game changer for my ears. I made two big buys this past year and the first was a pristine 2003 Nashville 112 and then the V8 from our Forum Bro, Jim Palenscar. In fact, I run the V8 into my HOF Flashback Mini delay on to the Power Amp in of the 112. FYI, I did install the Fox Mod (IC Chip Upgrade) to the 112…enhanced the already fine sound/tone. The 112 has the original Blue Marvel speaker as well. My MSA Studio Pro with BL 705 has been enhanced with the added toys 😉. Sorry for the ramble but as you know it’s fun to get a sound you like….you know how it is…Carl
